On the occasion of the anniversary – 70 years since the company’s founding – TITAN Usje hosted a high-level diplomatic delegation consisting of the Ambassador of the European Union, Michalis Rokas, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Özlem Channel, and the Ambassador of Greece, Sofia Filipidou.
During the visit, investments in advanced technology, digitalization, and innovations in cement production and new eco-friendly products were presented. The community improvement projects that the company is continuously implementing were also showcased.
The ambassadors had the opportunity to learn about the company’s key achievements, including continuous investments in modernization and reduction of CO₂ emissions. This has been achieved through the use of alternative fuels and renewable energy sources, resulting in a reduction of CO₂ emissions by over 10%.
The development of an autonomous system for real-time production optimization was also presented. This system has significantly increased production efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and improved product quality.
The diplomats also visited the “Innovatorium” – an educational club designed to strengthen the skills of young people, enhance their education, and implement new methods and techniques in the study of STEM sciences – mathematics, technology, engineering, and science. This initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje. In just a few months, over 200 students have undergone training in 3D printing at the Innovatorium.
“For us, 70 years of existence mean not only tradition, but also a commitment to the future. As part of the TITAN Group, we are proud to share our achievements in the field of decarbonization, digitalization, and responsible cooperation with the community. We want to continue to be drivers of change, building bridges between industry, innovation, and sustainability. We are grateful that the ambassadors were part of this significant moment for our company,” said the CEO of TITAN Usje, Konstantinos Nikolaou.
Part of the visit also included a tour of the alternative fuels facilities and the monitoring center, where the ambassadors gained insight into the real processes of innovative and environmentally conscious production.
The visit is another confirmation of TITAN Usje’s openness and transparency, as well as the company’s commitment to being a trusted partner of the international community, local institutions, and the general public.
