The Titan Usje factory celebrated its remarkable anniversary last night at NOB – 70 years of existence, seven decades during which the company grew from a local industrial capacity into a modern and technologically advanced production center, recognized beyond the country’s borders.
Founded in 1955, the Usje factory started with modest resources but big ambitions. Over the decades, the company has constantly modernized itself, introducing new technologies and standards in production. Its commitment to quality, safety, and innovation has established Usje as a cornerstone of local industry.
The 70th anniversary celebration was opened by Titan’s CEO Konstantinos Nikolaou and was held in the presence of current and former employees, partners, representatives from institutions and the business community. The event was an opportunity to recognize the employees who have contributed to the development of the factory for decades, as well as to recall key moments in the company’s history.
Nicolaou emphasized that the success of “Usje” is the result of continuous work, professionalism and the vision to create a factory that will be an example of industrial development in the region.
In recent years, Usje has been investing intensively in green technologies, energy efficiency and emission reduction. The goal is for the factory to be a modern, environmentally sustainable production facility, compliant with European regulations and global standards.
Titan’s CEO for Europe, Yannis Panoyaras, also spoke at NOB last night, announcing new projects for digitalization, automation, and improvement of production processes – a step forward towards the industry of the future.
For decades, Usje has also played a significant role in the local community, through support for educational institutions, cultural initiatives and environmental projects. This anniversary was also used as a reminder that strong industry and responsible operations create new opportunities for the development of the entire society.
With a strong heritage, a modern vision and a clear strategy, Usje enters the new decade ready for new challenges. The company remains committed to quality, innovation and sustainability – values that will guide it in the future.
The 70th anniversary is not just a celebration of the past, but also a promise for an even stronger future for one of the most significant industrial symbols of North Macedonia.
The company thanked its collaborators – the faculties, and in the evening the National Jazz Orchestra also performed on the NOB stage.
